Sudan and its friends -- Syria, Saudi Arabia, China -- deny the atrocities in Darfur, and attack the members of the mission on Darfur as headed by Jody Williams.

BB:Its really sad to watch an organisation that was supposed to champion the sick, the needy those without voices, be corrupted by self seving politicians. It was such a noble idea in theory, one fears what will become of the dispossed, the needy, the sick, the UN in its current configuration is used more as a mechanism of repression and restriction of free voices that seems to fly in the face and against, its stated ideals.
